We’re throwing a beer garden party with our friends at Dovetail Brewery to celebrate *Flammkuchen, aka Flammekueche aka Tarte Flambée, an Alsatian/German/Swiss culinary treasure. We’ll make a a few different versions along with a few BJ’s classics and pair them all with Dovetail beers. For this collab, we’re giving it a Dovetail twist - the dough is made using Hagen’s sourdough starter, fermented with Dovetail’s own spontaneously-fermented beer!
*What the heck is Flammkuchen? It’s a thin, crispy flatbread from the Alsace region, traditionally topped with crème fraîche, onions, and bacon.
